TV Personality. Strategic Communicator. Army Officer. Charities Trustee. Grassroots Campaigner
“I have had many roles during my professional career, but my aspiration has always been to serve others in need.
I was inspired by my father in this regards, a Birmingham city social worker of 32 years, who instilled in me strong family values and devotion to ones duty.
These values I have carried with me throughout life, and it has empowered me to achieve career goals and highlights.”
Activism
“I have been a Conservative party activist and grassroots campaigner for nearly 23 years, ever since I first joined the party at University. I have since canvassed and delivered up and down the country, for friends and colleagues running for local and national office.
I have developed as a candidate through this, giving my time and knowledge freely to help others succeed.
In 2019-21 I was selected the West Midlands PCC candidate, achieving 259,779 votes across the region in the election.
Today, I continue to serve as Political Officer for my local association and as a Parliamentary candidate.”
Serve To Lead
“As a trained soldier and Commissioned Officer, the message “Serve to Lead” is one I hold very close to my heart. It means to show others the right path through ones own virtues, by being values-driven and maintaining high personal standards.
This belief spurs me in all I do, to be a strong team player and help others achieve their goals. The greatest joy I find is in developing and motivating winning teams, for which I bring my energy, positivity, and charm.
I have accomplished many firsts: from the first in my family to attend a Grammar school and then to go to University through to the first turban-wearing Sikh to break into regional news with ITV, and later the Intelligence Corps.
I’m thankful for such opportunities and “give back” by motivating and guiding others from less-privileged backgrounds to develop and achieve.”
